Blackwell Operating System
Blackwell is an operating system developed as an experiment into clean-slate OS development in my spare time. It is currently in the early stages of development.
- Blackwell runs on x86 PC-Compatible systems with an i686 (Pentium Pro) processor or better.
- Blackwell should be bootable by any Multiboot-compliant bootloader, such as GRUB Legacy, GRUB 2, or QEMU's
- Blackwell will use Apple's UTI typing system.
- Blackwell will support extended attributes, even on filesystems without native support (e.g. FAT) via a kludge (a hidden file is placed in each directory, listing, for each file and subdirectory, all extended attributes).
